This Cookie Policy explains how Sykr uses cookies and similar technologies (local storage, session storage) on sykr.app and related domains. By using the service you agree to the use of strictly necessary cookies. Optional cookies require your consent.

1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file stored on your device by your browser. We also use browser local storage and session storage, which behave similarly. These technologies let us remember you between visits, keep you logged in and understand how the product is used.

2. Categories we use

• Strictly necessary — authentication tokens (Supabase auth session), CSRF protection, load balancing. The service cannot work without these and they do not require consent.
• Preferences — UI preferences such as theme, last viewed niche, sidebar state. Set only when you change a setting.
• Analytics — aggregated, privacy-friendly usage metrics (which pages are viewed, which features are used) so we can improve the product. We do not use cross-site advertising trackers.
• Payments — Stripe sets cookies on its embedded checkout to process subscriptions securely and detect fraud.

3. How to control cookies

You can clear cookies and local storage from your browser settings at any time. Doing so will sign you out and reset your preferences. Most browsers also let you block third-party cookies, which may break Stripe checkout.

4. Do Not Track

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no industry consensus on how to interpret it, so Sykr does not currently respond to DNT. We minimize tracking by default.

5. Changes

We may update this Cookie Policy when we add or remove tools. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
